Arbaaz Khan On Nepotism: Questions are often raised regarding nepotism in Bollywood. Many times the veteran stars of B-Town have been seen openly expressing their opinion on this. Now Arbaaz Khan has presented his opinion regarding this. He has termed it wrong to give credit for the success of any star kid to his film background. He also said that no matter how close someone is to Bollywood, he has to struggle.
During a conversation with Timeout with Ankit, Arbaaz Khan said- ‘Some doors definitely open. If your father is a doctor or a lawyer, then you will have access to other people in those businesses. Similarly, as an actor, if we wanted to meet someone in the industry, it was possible for us because our father was a film scriptwriter and a part of Bollywood. According to Arbaaz, being from a film family makes it easy to meet someone but because of that he does not get any work.
Arbaaz-Sohail did not get as much success as Salman
Arbaaz Khan said that no Bollywood connection can guarantee your 25 years of career. He said, ‘This may give you a break, but it will not make your career. Sohail and I could not be as successful as other superstars or our brother Salman Khan in this matter, but we are still here. We are working and busy with other things.
‘Even a superstar has 10 flop films’
The actor further said, ‘No one helps anyone. It would be wrong to say that if an actor is successful, it is because of his connections or nepotism. Even a superstar goes through such a phase where 10 of his films flop and he doesn’t know what to do. Then how can they help the relatives of another celebrity?
