BJP MP Arun Govil also put forth his views on the Waqf Board Amendment Bill. He said- ‘I don’t think this is about religion. Waqf is an institution that manages property and the taxes generated from it. It should not be linked to religion. Kiren Rijiju answered all the questions of the opposition very clearly without any doubt. The opposition opposes everything just for this. If the mistakes made during the Waqf Board Amendment in 1995 need to be corrected then it is a good thing. This is not anti-Muslim.’
