Suspicion is increasing over the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in the alleged scam of Delhi’s new liquor policy. If leaders associated with BJP and sources of the investigating agency are to be believed, Kejriwal’s arrest is possible during the consecration ceremony of Ram in Ayodhya. The reason, at that time there will be an atmosphere of enthusiasm about Ram Temple in other areas of the country including Delhi. Especially in North India, BJP is seeing this program as an advantage in politics. This is the reason why BJP has taken the Pran Pratishtha ceremony to the country and abroad. During this time Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal can be arrested.
Sources say that Kejriwal’s arrest is possible during the consecration ceremony of Ram temple. Till now ED has sent three summons to Kejriwal. Kejriwal has not appeared before the investigating agency on any summons. Now there is a possibility that the investigating agency can arrest Kejriwal at any time. If Kejriwal is arrested now, Aam Aadmi Party can take huge political mileage from it. Especially, big protests of AAP can be seen in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, the consecration ceremony of Ram temple may be affected. There are chances of a road jam like situation arising due to political demonstration. Train movement may also be affected. On the other hand, BJP is preparing to bring people from India and abroad to Ayodhya. In such a situation, Kejriwal’s arrest is possible around January 22.
On Thursday, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said, hooliganism is going on openly in the country. Catch anyone and put him in jail. As Kejriwal, my biggest strength is honesty. They want to hurt my honesty by filing false cases. My lawyer told that all these summons are illegal, I have given the answer to ED as to why they are illegal. If they send proper summons, I will cooperate in the investigation. Has cooperated in CBI investigation earlier also. BJP’s aim is not to conduct proper investigation. The reason behind this is to stop me from campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections. Arvind Kejriwal will be on Gujarat tour on 6, 7 and 8 January in view of the Lok Sabha elections. He will address AAP worker conference and public meeting. Kejriwal is also scheduled to meet jailed AAP MLA Chaitra Basava.
