ED Arrested Arvind Kejriwal: Lok Sabha Elections Just before 2024, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate from his house on Thursday (21 March). After this action of ED, the political atmosphere in the country has also heated up. On one hand, AAP is telling Arvind Kejriwal an idea, while on the other hand, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is calling it a bad idea.
Speaking to news agency ANI on Friday (March 22), BJP leader Sambit Patra said, “There is no court left in this country where the Aam Aadmi Party has not approached to spread its lies. Still he did not get any relief from anywhere. Atishi says that Arvind Kejriwal is not a person but an idea. “I should say that’s a bad idea.”
‘Celebration of corruption going on outside Arvind Kejriwal’s house’
He further said, “High voltage drama is going on outside Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Corruption is being celebrated. If his excise policy was so good then why was it canceled? Why and how did you introduce factionalism in the entire process of liquor procurement? Why did he give contracts to his close ones? Initially 5% commission was given which was increased to 12% and even 7% additional commission was received as black money.”

‘It is natural for them to be afraid’
Sambit Patra said, “If such scams are committed, action will be taken as per law. It is natural for someone who has a thief in mind to be afraid. The people of Delhi do not want alcohol. The people of Delhi want good governance. Arvind Kejriwal and your people lie in the court. Sanjay Singh is in jail. Arvind Kejriwal is a bad idea. The court had granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal was always making excuses for ED summons.”
