The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. Actually, the ED team had reached Kejriwal’s house at 7 pm on Thursday evening with the 10th summons and search warrant. After this, after interrogation for about two hours, this arrest took place at 9 pm. According to ED officials, Arvind Kejriwal will be presented in the court today. But the question is in which court the ED presents Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal or any accused.

According to the information, the ED team will present Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the special PMLA court today i.e. on March 22. According to the information, after presenting PMLA in the court, ED will demand his custody for questioning.

It is very difficult to get bail under the law (Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002) under which the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Arvind Kejriwal. Let us tell you that this law was passed in the year 2002 and it was implemented on July 1, 2005. The main objective of this law is to prevent money laundering. In the year 2012, by amending PML, banks, mutual funds and insurance companies were also brought under its purview.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrests the accused under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. After this, the ED presents the accused in the PMLA court under the special PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act). The court sentences the accused on the basis of charges. According to the information, there are two lockups in the ED headquarters. Centralized AC is installed in the entire office. Arvind Kejriwal is in a lockup, which is on the ground floor.
