The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. According to the information, the ED team had reached Kejriwal’s house at 7 pm on Thursday evening with the 10th summons and search warrant. According to the information, the investigating agency made this arrest at 9 pm after two hours of interrogation. But the question is where will the ED keep Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after arresting him. Does ED have its own jail?
ED’s jail?
Does ED keep the accused in any jail after arrest? In fact, after the arrest, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) takes the accused to its office for questioning. After which the ED presents the accused in the court along with all the charge sheets. After appearing in the court, everything depends on the decisions of the court. If the court sentences the accused then the accused is sent to jail. Actually ED does not have any jail of its own. However, there are separate rooms in the ED office for interrogation and keeping the accused in custody.
