Arvind Kejriwal, who is in ED custody in liquor scam, may now get into a new trouble. In case of issuing written order from custody, new punishment may fall on him. Legally, he cannot issue any official orders as Chief Minister while in custody. But till now two such letters have come to light, which are said to have been signed by Arvind Kejriwal. If it is proved that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has signed the said order letters while in the custody of ED, then a new case can be registered against him in this matter.
At the same time, if the letters without his signature have been presented in front of the media as his letters, then in this case those people (Atishi Marlena and Saurabh Bhardwaj) who have presented the said letters as Kejriwal’s letters can be implicated in the media. . BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has lodged a written complaint on this matter with Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. This matter may be investigated.
Senior lawyer Abha Singh told Amar Ujala that based on the rules, a person cannot sign letters in this manner while in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate. In any special situation, when the lawyer of the person concerned makes him sign any letter, it is necessary to give prior information to the jail authorities in this matter. If any such letter has been signed without informing the authorities, then it falls under the category of a crime and investigation can be done in this case.
Abha Singh said that if any letter has not been signed by Arvind Kejriwal, but someone outside has presented the letter to the public by calling it his letter, then it falls in the category of fraud. In this case, a case of fraud can be registered against him. However, what actually happened in this case can be said only after investigation.
In this effort you
In fact, Aam Aadmi Party is constantly trying to show that Arvind Kejriwal is concerned about the people of Delhi even after being jailed in the liquor scam. He is continuously issuing new orders for the welfare of the people of Delhi. Earlier, Delhi government minister Atishi Marlena had shown a letter allegedly signed by Arvind Kejriwal on March 24, saying that the Chief Minister has expressed concern over providing clean water to everyone in Delhi during summer. He has given instructions to provide clean water to everyone this summer and to make necessary preparations for sewer related problems.
Similarly, on March 26, another Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj showed a letter allegedly signed by Arvind Kejriwal and said that the Chief Minister has given instructions to ensure availability of medicines in every mohalla clinic and hospitals of Delhi. The purpose of these efforts of Aam Aadmi Party was to get public support, but after this BJP became an attacker on these letters.
BJP’s allegations
Delhi BJP held a massive demonstration against Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday. In this protest, the party demanded the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal. During this demonstration, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that an attempt is being made to deceive the people of Delhi through the above letters. He alleged that even when Arvind Kejriwal was out of jail, he was cheating the people, now that he is in jail, he is trying to deceive the people of Delhi through fake letters.
He said that legally no leader can issue such an order after being in ED custody. If these letters are true, then how Arvind Kejriwal wrote these letters should be investigated. And if these letters are fake and not written by Arvind Kejriwal, then action should be taken against those who are fakely calling a letter as the Chief Minister’s letter. He alleged that this was a clear case of fraud, and action should be taken against those responsible.
