Arvind Kejriwal seems to be in a new trouble. Based on information received from an RTI, BJP has alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had spent about Rs 30 crore on the repair of his old residence. The party alleges that a huge scam has been done in this money spent in the name of repairs. The party has called it a waste of public money and demanded an investigation.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has said that an RTI report has revealed that CM Kejriwal spent around Rs 30 crore on repairing his residence. He said that the government has not yet denied this RTI information which is being widely circulated on social media and this strengthens the suspicion that it is correct. He said that this matter should be investigated.

Sachdeva said the RTI issued on December 29, 2023, shows that between March 31, 2015, and December 27, 2022, a sum of Rs 29.56 crore has been paid by the Public Works Department of the Delhi government to four contractors for maintenance works at the CM residence. . Sachdeva has said that he is not an expert in this matter, but it is surprising that the name of any contractor named in the RTI is not an established name.

According to RTI, one AK builder has been paid more than Rs 29.08 crore, while one Munjareen Ahmed has been paid more than Rs 29.86 lakh. Another contractor Mohd. Over Rs 17.21 lakh has been paid to Arshad and over Rs 8.76 lakh has been paid to MA Builders. Delhi BJP has requested the Lieutenant Governor to get the matter investigated by the Anti-Corruption Branch or Vigilance Department.
