Kejriwal lost elections from New Delhi

Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal stood from New Delhi Assembly seat in the Delhi Assembly elections. Pravesh Verma, son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sahab Singh Verma, was in the fray from the BJP. This Chief Minister has also lost elections

In 2013, when the Aam Aadmi Party formed the government for the first time. Then Arvind Kejriwal won the election from New Delhi seat. He defeated the then Chief Minister Sheila Dixit. That was the first time. When Sheila Dixit lost the assembly elections. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lost to Nandigram seat in the 2021 assembly elections. Apart from this, Vasundhara Raje, who was the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, lost the election from Jhalrapatan seat in the 2008 assembly elections.
