Deepak Kumar/Banka: You must have seen or heard many such incidents around you or in the news, when a boy or a girl or a husband and wife reach a better position, then they go back on their promises or leave their partner. One such case came to light from Bamba district of Bihar. However, this incident was different from other such incidents because the boy was married even after he refused.
There was a love affair going on for about 2 years between BPSC teacher Manohar Das, resident of Maheshadih village of Banka district, and Nisha Kumari, resident of Kathaun village of Rajon police station area. During this time, both of them got married in the Paharia Baba Shiv temple of Anandpur police station area with Mahadev as witness. Meanwhile, lover Manohar got a job as a BPSC teacher. As soon as he got the job, he refused to recognize his girlfriend Nisha.
Nisha informed this to her family. After this the girlfriend’s family started searching for the teacher. Information was received that the lover turned teacher is working in the upgraded middle school Balsara of Suiya police station area and lives in a rented house in Tetaria. The girlfriend reached Tetaria with her family and caught the lover teacher. When caught, the lover teacher tried to escape and the high voltage drama continued for a long time. Within no time, hundreds of villagers gathered and took the couple to the Shiva temple and forcibly married them.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the local police administration reached the spot and took the couple into their custody and took them to the police station, where with their consent they were sent to their in-laws’ house along with their father. In the in-laws house, mother-in-law and father-in-law gave blessings and accepted the girlfriend as their daughter-in-law.
