The latest case has come with two AES cases, in which a 5-year-old girl from Nanpur block of Sitamarhi district was admitted to the PICU ward of SKMCH due to high fever, in which AES has been confirmed.

Both children were sent home

Along with this, AES has been confirmed in a 3 year old child in Bochaha block of Muzaffarpur, after which the health department has come on alert. However, both the children have been discharged after recovery after treatment, after which both have returned home. However, with the increase in summer, the number of patients is expected to increase further in the coming days.

Nodal officer gave information

Giving information about the matter, Additional Chief Medical Officer of the district and Nodal Officer of AES, Dr. Satish Kumar said that our preparations regarding AES are complete. We are continuously working in this direction. Public awareness campaign is being run continuously in the affected areas.
