Ashadh Gupt Navratri 2024: Navratri has a special significance in Sanatan Dharma. During Navratri, nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped. - During Gupt Navratri, meat, alcohol, garlic and onion should not be consumed at all.

- There should be no quarrels, hatred or insults in the house during the days of Navratri. It is said that doing so does not bring prosperity.

Secret Navratri Puja Method (Gupt Navratri Puja Vidhi)
- After getting up early in the morning and finishing all the work, collect all the Puja materials for Navratri.
- Decorate the idol of Maa Durga in red coloured clothes. Sow barley seeds in an earthen pot and sprinkle water every day till Navami.
- Install the Kalash in the auspicious time as per the complete procedure. In this, first fill the Kalash with Ganga water, put mango leaves on its mouth and place a coconut on it.
- Wrap the Kalash with a red cloth and tie it with Kalawa. Now place it near an earthen pot. Perform the puja with flowers, camphor, incense sticks and jyot.
- Chant the mantra related to Maa Durga for nine days and welcome the Mother and pray for happiness and prosperity from her.
- After Durga Puja on Ashtami or Navami, worship nine girls and offer them various dishes (puri, chana, halwa).
- On the last day, after the worship of Durga, immerse the Ghat, sing the Aarti of the Mother, offer flowers, rice to her and pick up the Kalash from the bed.
