Asian Games 2023 India Won SILVER Medal In Women’s 10m Air Rifle Team Event And Rowing Men’s Lightweight Double Sculls


Asian Games 2023: After the official start of Asian Games 2023 on 23 September, India has started the process of winning medals today. In shooting, India’s women’s team won the silver medal in the 10 meter air rifle event. Whereas in rowing, Arun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh managed to win the silver medal by finishing second in the final of men’s lightweight doubles sculls.

India’s women’s shooting team finished second in the 10m air rifle event with a score of 1886. Ramita, Mehuli Ghosh and Ashi Chouksey participated in this event from India’s side. Whereas the Chinese team managed to win the gold medal by finishing with a score of 1896.6. In this event, Mongolia’s team stood third with 1880 points.

India won its second silver medal in rowing in this Asian Games. The pair of Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh finished second in the men’s lightweight doubles sculls final with a timing of 6:28:18. In the same event, the Chinese team succeeded in winning the gold medal with a time of 6:23:16. Whereas Uzbekistan team was successful in winning the bronze medal.

India will take part in many important events today

India will participate in many important events today in the 19th Asian Games. In this women’s cricket event, the team will face Bangladesh in the semi-finals and by winning this match, another medal will be assured. In hockey, the team will face the team of Uzbekistan. There will be competitions in many different weight categories in boxing also. India still has hopes of winning medals in some more events in rowing.
