Guwahati Airport: An accident occurred at Guwahati Airport in Assam on Sunday (March 31, 2024). Due to the severe storm and heavy rain, a part of the ceiling of the outer roof of Guwahati’s Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport collapsed.
Six flights were diverted after a portion of the outer ceiling of the Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport collapsed. Regarding this, Chief Operating Officer (CAO) Utpal Buruh while talking to news agency PTI said that a tree was uprooted and due to this the road was blocked. He further said that immediately after this we cleared the road, it took an hour and a half minute.
