The condition of the patients who had stopped taking their medicines was found to be bad and they had to be admitted and given oxygen. Respiratory patients and TB patients also complained of blood in sputum along with high fever and cough. Gave increased dose of inhaler to asthma patients.
Headache and muscle pain due to fever
Dr. Prabhat Aggarwal of the Medicine Department of SN College said that people became vulnerable to viral fever due to getting wet in water and drinking thandai-cold drinks. Along with high fever, there was pain in head, eyes and muscles. Same situation prevailed in children also. Irritability was also seen due to weakness and lack of sleep. After Holi, the number of such patients has increased by 30 percent.
