Anthony Albanese Terrorist Threat: Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has revealed that he and his family have received death threats from a young terrorist. The accused has been identified as Jordan Patton. The 19-year-old allegedly entered the office of Newcastle MP Tim Crackenthorpe on Wednesday with a knife and some lethal weapons and also made a video.

According to ABC News, a series of online posts revealed that Patton had allegedly planned the attacks. The young man was inspired by the Christchurch mass shooter and planned a series of attacks. The posts also revealed that the accused teenager had vowed to behead the Labor politician.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Albanese said, ‘That document… is very worrying, it contains threats not only to Labor MPs but also to other people, my family.’ Albanese said, ‘This is a matter of serious concern. He (the accused youth) has directly threatened.’ ABC News has published a detailed report about this.

Terrorist distributed manifesto to media
According to investigators, the 19-year-old recently distributed a 200-page manifesto filled with extremist ideas to several media outlets and public figures. According to ABC News, it is alleged that a seven-minute video shot by Patton shows him preparing a costume in a public toilet, including a ballistics vest, face mask, gloves and a helmet equipped with a GoPro camera.

Fear prevails among Australian MPs
The footage allegedly shows the teenager, armed with knives and tactical equipment, entering the office of Newcastle MP Tim Crackanthorp about 12.30pm on Wednesday and then walking back out into the street. Crackanthorp claimed no one was hurt. New South Wales Premier Chris Minns said he would consider providing extra security to MPs if needed, but said it was not possible to protect against every potential threat.
