On Makar Sankranti, Monday will be the auspicious time for bathing and donating. A crowd of devotees will gather in Ramnagari for Saryu bath and darshan-worship. Khichdi festival will be celebrated in most of the temples including Ramlala on Monday itself. In view of the possibility of huge crowd gathering for bathing, traffic diversion has been implemented in Ramnagari. Devotees are facing problems due to less water at the ghats of Saryu. Saryu has gone away from the ghats during the winter season. On the other hand, Makar Sankranti will be celebrated in the Ramjanmabhoomi complex. Chief Archak Acharya Satyendra Das told that after offering khichdi, vegetables, puri, curd, papad, ghee and pickle to Ramlala, Prasad will be distributed to everyone.
