Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to declare a holiday in educational institutions in the state on January 22 in view of the emotional connection of the common people with the consecration ceremony of the much-awaited new idol of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhyadham. Terming this special occasion as a ‘national festival’, the Chief Minister has said that liquor shops should be kept closed in the state on January 22.

The Chief Minister, who visited Ayodhya on Tuesday, after darshan and worship of Shri Ram Lalla and Hanuman Garhi, held a meeting with the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Taking information about the Vedic rituals of Pran Pratistha starting after Makar Sankranti, the Chief Minister directed the officials to provide all necessary cooperation to the Teerth Kshetra Trust in the security and other arrangements of the ceremony. After this, the Commissioner took stock of the preparations from the local administration officials in the presence of local public representatives in the auditorium and gave necessary guidelines.

He said that the dignitaries coming for the consecration ceremony should get better hospitality in Ayodhya. The resting place of each VVIP should be selected in advance. Considering the weather, it is possible that some guests may arrive a day or two earlier, in such a situation, better arrangements should be made for their stay.

Chief Minister Yogi directed that there are hotels and dharamshalas in Ayodhya. Home stay arrangements are also available. There is a need to further increase the number of tent cities. On the lines of Kumbh, prepare a grand tent city on 25-50 acres in Ayodhya. After January 22, Ram devotees from all over the world will arrive in Ayodhya. For their convenience, signage in different languages ​​should be installed throughout the city. Signage should be in the languages ​​included in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution and 06 languages ​​of the United Nations.

The Chief Minister said that cleanliness is a very important subject in hospitality. Take public cooperation in this. There should be no dust or filth on major roads or streets like Dharma Path, Janmabhoomi Path, Bhakti Path, Ram Path. There are dustbins placed at various places. There should be arrangements for waste management. Currently, more than 3800 sanitation workers are deployed, the number of employees should be increased by 1500 more. We all will have to make efforts to make Ayodhya a banned polythene free city. Run a special campaign related to cleanliness in the city from 14th January. Dirt should not be seen anywhere in the city.
