Crores of families benefited
Ayushman Bharat Scheme Prime Minister on 23 September 2018 Narendra Modi Had started. Under this scheme, more than 12 crore poor and vulnerable families (about 55 crore beneficiaries) get a cover of Rs 5 lakh per family every year. Crores of people from rural and urban areas are included in this scheme. It provides health cover in cashless mode. There are no rules regarding the number or gender of people in the family.
Which people do not get benefits?
Now let us talk about those people who cannot get the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Scheme. If you do a government job then you will not get the benefit of this scheme. Because this scheme is for the poor section of the country, if your income is more than Rs 10,000 per month then you cannot become a beneficiary of the scheme. Farmers growing crops on more than 5 acres of land have also not been included in the scheme.
Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, people are given a card, on showing which they can get free treatment (up to Rs 5 lakh) in all hospitals. To make this card, you will have to go to the nearest public service center and talk to the concerned officer here. After giving the documents etc. your card will be made.
