Thieves made away with cash and jewelery worth lakhs on Friday night from three houses located in Bahera village of Ahraula police station area in Azamgarh. On the information of the victim’s families, CO Budhanpur as well as Ahraula police station reached the spot and started investigation. The incident has spread panic among the villagers.

Once again the terror of thieves is increasing in Ahraula police station area. Theft incidents are happening one after the other and the police department has remained a mute spectator. On Friday night, the thieves first knocked at the house of village resident Ramesh Singh. The thieves entered inside by cutting the locked locks and then locked the rooms from outside in which the family members were sleeping. After this, breaking the almirah and box etc. kept in two rooms, they fled away with Rs 1.60 lakh in cash and jewelery worth eight lakh.

After this, the thieves crossed the jewelery worth 1.5 lakh and 20 thousand cash from the house of Ajay Singh of the village itself. After this, the thieves entered the house of LP Singh of the village itself, from where they got hold of only one box. In which there were some silver ornaments. With which they ran away. The victims’ families came to know about the incident in the morning.

On the information of the victim’s families, Ahraula police station as well as CO Budhanpur Mahendra Shukla also reached the spot and conducted the investigation. A police team has been deployed in search of the thieves. At the same time, fear has spread among the villagers due to theft in three houses in the same night.
