Baba Siddique Shot Dead: NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai on the night of 12 October. Several rounds were fired at him in Bandra East, out of which three bullets hit him. Two in the stomach and one in the chest. Baba Siddiqui was taken to Lilavati Hospital in critical condition. Taking prompt action, Mumbai Police has arrested three accused in the case, while three are still absconding.
Namaz-e-Janaza was offered outside Baba Siddiqui’s Bandra residence on Sunday (13 October) evening. His mortal remains were laid to rest with state honors in the Bada Kabristan of Mumbai Lines. The entire top leadership of NCP attended his funeral. All the big leaders from Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare were present in Bada Kabaristan.
Security tight outside Salman Khan’s house
After the murder of Baba Siddiqui, now security has been tightened outside Galaxy Apartment, Salman Khan’s house. The security of Salman Khan’s house has been increased because Lawrence Bishnoi gang had fired at Salman Khan’s house in the month of April this year. Baba Siddiqui had good relations not only with political circles but also with Bollywood stars.
This could also be a major reason for murder
The police is also investigating the angle of involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the murder of Baba Siddiqui. The reason for this is believed to be Siddiqui’s friendship with Salman Khan. Bishnoi gang has earlier conducted firing at the houses of singers AP Dhillon and Gippy Grewal, not only in Mumbai but also abroad. Apart from Salman Khan, there could also be an SRA project in the Baba Siddiqui case. Because Baba Siddiqui was definitely involved in all the SRA projects in those areas.
Investigation is also going on on the angle of contract killing
Cases of political killing do not usually happen in Mumbai, but Baba Siddiqui has political enmity with many people. Due to this, the police is investigating this matter in depth from this angle also. From the investigation so far, the police have come to know that this is a case of contract killing, but who has given this contract is being investigated.
Third accused Praveen Lonkar arrested
Praveen Lonkar, the third accused in the murder of Baba Siddiqui, has also been arrested by Mumbai Crime Branch. Dharamraj Kashyap and Shiv Prasad Gautam of Pune worked in a scrap shop and next to it was Praveen Lonkar’s dairy. Praveen Lonkar is the brother of Subu Lonkar. Subu Lonkar had posted a post on social media this morning. In this he had talked about Bishnoi gang taking responsibility.
Bhai Subu is considered the mastermind
Praveen Lonkar is accused of hiring Dharamraj Kashyap and Shivprasad Gautam for this murder. Praveen was asked by his brother Subu Lonkar to do this. The police is looking at Subu Lonkar as the mastermind in this case.
