Baba Siddique Shot Dead: Shiva, an accused in the murder of Baba Siddiqui, is a resident of Bahraich, UP. The accused’s mother said, “My son had gone to Pune to work in a scrapyard. That’s all I know. I don’t know what he was doing in Mumbai. He came home on Holi and has not come since then. He was not even talking to me on the phone, so I cannot say anything about this incident. His age is 18-19 years.
Talking to news agency ANI, Shiva’s mother said, “We did not know before. My son used to work at Bhangar in Pune. That’s what we knew. We did not know what the Mumbaikar does and what he eats and earns. He left home on Holi and hasn’t come since then.

Didn’t tell anything to family members
He further said, “He did not talk to us. So what can we tell how it was done. When he lived here, he sometimes worked in a tent and sometimes did the work of lifting bricks. He used to say that if we go out, we will earn in three years. Didn’t tell everything. He did not give money after earning it. When my daughter was ill, I sent three thousand rupees.
Mumbai Police had caught two of the three accused on the night of the incident itself, while the third accused Shiva is still absconding. Shiva was working in Pune for 5-6 years. Police suspect Lawrence Bishnoi gang in this incident but the possibility of murder due to personal enmity is not being ruled out. Baba Siddiqui was a big leader and businessman of Maharashtra. His son Zeeshan Siddiqui is also an MLA. Baba Siddiqui had joined NCP this year.
