Akshay Kumar breaks silence on back to back flops
Let us tell you that Akshay Kumar’s previous releases ‘Selfie’ and ‘Mission Raniganj’ failed at the box office. The actor had high hopes from these films, however, these films did not pass the test of the audience. While talking about continuous flops, Akshay Kumar said that as an actor, he works hard in every film, but when it comes to success at the box office, it is something that no one can predict. And neither can anyone control it.
Can’t do movies of the same genre
Akshay Kumar said, “We keep trying for every type of film. I am not limited to one type of genre. I keep jumping from one genre to another, whether I get success or not, I have always worked like this. I will keep doing it, something that is social, something that is good, something in comedy, something in action.
Enjoy doing different types of films
He also told that he enjoys doing different types of films. It doesn’t really matter what people say. Even if people ask to do only comedy or action, it does not mean that the actor will attempt only these two genres. Doing the same kind of work leads to boredom and we keep doing different things. Sometimes his films will work and sometimes not, but this will not change his way of working.
Akshay had once given 16 films back to back flops.
Akshay had 16 flop films ever. Recalling that period, the actor stressed that even at that time he did not control his work style. He said, “It is not that I have not seen this phase before, there was a time when there were 16 consecutive flop films in my career. But I stood there and kept working and I will still do so,”
