The action-thriller film âBade Miyan Chhote Miyanâ, released on April 11, has proved to be a disaster on screen. This film, made with a huge budget of Rs 350 crore, has died within two weeks. With a superstar like Akshay Kumar being a part of the film, the makers are facing huge losses.
âBade Miyan Aur Chhote Miyanâ had a good start at the box office with a collection of Rs 15.65 crore. After doing decent business for four days, the downfall of the film started. The condition of the film worsened in the second week. For the last two days the film has not been able to earn even Rs.
Akshay-Tigerâs film flopped
According to the report of SACNILC, even on the 12th day of its release, âBade Miyan Chhote Miyanâ had done a business of only Rs 85 lakh. Now the preliminary figures of the 13th day have also come out, according to which the film has collected only Rs 40 lakh so far. With this, Akshay-Tigerâs film has been able to earn only Rs 56.4 crore in 13 days.
âMaidanâ also got divided!
Ajay Devganâs âMaidanâ was released in theaters along with âBade Miyan Chhote Miyanâ. The reality of the clash is clearly visible on the âfieldâ. This sports drama of Ajay Devgan also seems to be a flop at the box office. The filmâs earnings have dropped to lakhs in the last two days. While âMaidanâ had earned Rs 70 lakhs on the 12th day, as per the initial report, till now on the 13th day it has earned only Rs 38 lakhs. In this way, the total collection of âMaidanâ in 13 days has been only Rs 36.69 crore.
