MLA Pakshalika Singh raised the issue of increased power cuts and dilapidated roads in the villages of the Bah assembly constituency of Taj City Agra before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister has assured of improvement soon.

The MLA said that people of 214 villages of Bah, Pinahat, Jaitpur blocks are suffering from heat and humidity due to power cuts. Farmers are also not able to irrigate their crops. Villagers complain that electricity is being provided only for 8 hours in 24 hours.

The MLA also submitted a proposal for repairing the dilapidated roads. He said that many roads are still awaiting repair even after years. The Chief Minister also took feedback on the development work being done in Bateshwar.

Despite SDM’s advice, there was power cut during school hours

SDM Bah Srishti had inspected the council schools of Pura Chunnilal, Pura Harlal, Pura Chhatoli of Pinahat, Pura Bidha, Arnauta, Pura Parashar of Jaitpur, Uganpura, Baragaon on Friday. She found the children suffering from heat. There was no electricity.

The SDM had advised the SDO not to cut the power supply during school hours. Even after four days of the advice, there was no improvement. Due to power cuts during school hours, children suffer from humidity and heat. The local people are also angry about the increased power cuts.
