The conditional bail of the police station clerk/constable who was sent to jail in the case of death of a woman in the firing that took place in the Uparkot police station complex of Aligarh metropolis has been approved. In the incident that took place in the police station complex on December 8, the constable was accused of conspiracy to commit murder and was accused of carelessly handing over the pistol to the inspector.
55-year-old Ishrat Nigar of Haddi Godown area of Turkman Gate Chowki area had gone to the police station with her son Ishaan. Then Munshi took out his service pistol from the Malkhana and gave it to Inspector Manoj Sharma, in-charge of Bhujpura outpost. The inspector stood there checking the pistol and fired. The woman was injured by a bullet near her temple. He was declared dead late in the evening of 13 December.
A case was filed against Inspector Manoj Sharma on behalf of the woman’s son. But during investigation, the police also added the name of Munshi/Constable Sudeep Kumar, resident of Takipura Chaubia, Etawah. He was accused of conspiracy to commit murder after being accused of carelessly handing over the pistol. Investigation revealed that the clerk gave a loaded pistol to the inspector saying that a woman was coming. Do your work. On December 13 itself, the police sent Munshi Sudeep to jail.
A bail application was filed by the defense side in the case. At the bail hearing in the Sessions Court, it was argued that there was no point in the conspiracy of this murder, nor was there any enmity. The court has granted conditional bail to Sudeep on this basis. According to defense advocate Neeraj Chauhan, the Sessions Court, while granting bail to Sudeep, has mentioned in the order that he will not commit any crime like this crime or any crime will not be registered against him. The evidence in this case will not be affected and will assist in the investigation. Will appear in the court from time to time. Adjournment shall not apply at the time of any deposition. Otherwise the bail may be cancelled.
