On 29th April, the procession of Balaji Maharaj was taken out with much fanfare in Akrabad. Fifty-six offerings were made in the temple. Devotees recited Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa. In the procession, the tableaux of Khatu Shyam and Maa Kali attracted everyone’s attention.
Vijay Yadav and police station in-charge Rishipal Kasana jointly started the procession by showing the flag. Before this, Chhappan Bhog was offered in the Shri Balaji Maharaj Temple of Bade Mahadev Temple Adinarayan. Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa were recited, as well as havan was performed by the devotees. The entire market was decorated with archways, saffron colored fringes and flags for the procession. Tableaux of Shiv-Parvati, Radhakrishna, Ram Darbar, Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh along with Khatu Shyam and Maa Kali were included in the procession along with Shri Balaji Maharaj’s dola.
Shopkeepers in the main market showered flowers on their establishments in a procession. At the same time, people served the people by serving kheer-puri-vegetables, gram-halwa, bouquets and sherbet. Pintu Rana, Ashu Varshney, Mahesh Yadav, Dinesh Rathi, Rajendra Kumar Varshney, Hridayesh Varshney, Mahesh Pathak, Danny Pathak, Raju Yadav, Jagdish Prasad Sharma, Awadhesh Sharma, Pankaj Kaushik, Bhola Yadav, Satendra Singh, Diwakar Upadhyay, Manik Yadav, Suraj Rana continued serving.
