The flood crisis in Balrampur is deepening due to the water from Nepal. Rapti river is flowing eight centimeters below the danger mark. Hariya police station is flooded. Apart from this, traffic has been stopped due to waterlogging on many roads. The administration is on alert mode.
Rapti river is 08 cm below the danger mark. The water level is rising a lot. The discharge at Rapti barrage in Shravasti has reduced and the water level has started decreasing there. By late evening, the water level is likely to start decreasing in Balrampur. For relief and rescue, a team of 14 flood PAC jawans and 03 havildars are deployed in the district with 02 motorboats. 32 medical teams of the health department have been formed. 32 flood posts and 19 flood shelters have been built. Apart from this, Haraiya police station premises have been flooded due to the flood. Due to this, people are facing problems. In Uttaraula too, flood water is flowing on the road.

In view of the waterlogging and flow on the road near Kodri Ghat on Lalia-Hariharganj road, two boats and one motor boat have been deployed for safety. Along with this, police duty has also been imposed so that no accident occurs. Along with installing police barriers at Jhinga Nala and Laukhwa Dip, police personnel have also been deployed for safety.
