Police contingent giving guard of honor

The police, which is often late in catching criminals, arrived after the funeral of senior Congress leader and democracy defender (Misabandhi) Jamiruddin Siddiqui (Master Sahib). He gave a guard of honor after the body was buried. While the department had to face embarrassment due to the negligence of police personnel, there was resentment among the leaders too.
Democracy Rakshak Fighter (Misabandhi), senior volleyball player and elder brother of former minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui, Zameeruddin Siddiqui, died in Lucknow on Monday night. He was about 82 years old. Nasimuddin reached Banda with his family early on Tuesday to attend the funeral.
A large number of people of different religions including former Congress provincial president and former Jalaun MP Brajlal Khabri, former MLA Shiromani, Congress provincial leader Akhilesh Shukla, SP state vice president CL Verma, BJP leader Saurabh were present. Maulana Qari Habib Ahmed of Madrasa Hathora conducted the namaz.
When Jamiruddin’s mortal remains were laid to rest, the police took care of giving a guard of honor to the democracy fighter. A contingent of armed police performed the salute ceremony on the spot. City Kotwal Anoop Dubey said that information about the death of the former minister’s brother was received. But there was no information about being a democracy fighter. On getting information, the contingent came to salute.
