Pakistan expressed objection

Former Pakistani minister Fawad Chaudhary has expressed his objection to the meeting between Ajit Doval and Sheikh Hasina. On social media platform X, Fawad Chaudhary wrote, ‘India should stop supporting the former anti-people government in Bangladesh.’ He has described Hasina’s meeting with Doval as interference in the internal affairs of Bangladesh.

What did BSF say?

Sheikh Hasina arrived in India amid the ongoing protests in Bangladesh. After Sheikh Hasina’s arrival in India, the security of the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi was further increased. A senior BSF official said that the Border Guard is in touch with Bangladesh amid the turmoil.

Traffic movement restricted

A senior BSF officer said that due to curfew in Bangladesh, there is a ban on the movement of traffic at the Integrated Check Post (ICP) on the India-Bangladesh border. According to the BSF officer, India is keeping an eye on the situation and efforts are being made to ensure that nothing untoward happens.
