Reports indicate that this drone is probably being operated from Bashar Air Base in Dhaka.
According to IDRW report, this drone has been identified through transponder code TB2R1071. This is the same drone, which was also seen near West Bengal. After this, regional monitoring activities intensified. The presence of Bayraktar TB-2 drone near the Indian border is part of the growing pattern of deployment of UAVs by Bangladesh. Drone monitoring on the border increases concern
Earlier this week, this drone was reportedly at Zahurul Air Base in Chittagong, Bangladesh. America gave advice amid India-Bangladesh tension
America has requested India and Bangladesh to resolve their differences peacefully. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller gave this information in a press meeting on Tuesday (December 10). In response to a question on the visit of India’s Foreign Secretary to Bangladesh, Miller said, ‘We want all parties to resolve their differences peacefully.’
