Both were one of the favorite couples of TV. They met on the sets of ‘Pyaar Ke Do Naam… Ek Radha Ek Shyam’ in 2006. While working together, Barkha and Indranil fell in love with each other. Then the couple got married in 2008 after dating for some time.
13 years old marriage was broken
But fans of Barkha Bisht and Indranil Sengupta were shocked when the couple parted ways after 13 years of marriage. Barkha and Indranil got divorced in the year 2023. However, even before this, in 2020, both of them had parted ways. After the divorce, Barkha is raising her daughter Meera as a single mother. Recently, Barkha spoke openly to Tele TalkIndia about her personal life and also made many revelations about her ex-husband.
Barkha got emotional about her broken marriage and said, “I wish I was a good wife and there is no reason behind it. But if I was a better wife then maybe… things would have ended. But after my marriage broke, I kept thinking, was I not a good wife? This question will always remain in my heart.” When the actress was asked about her second marriage, Barkha said, “I am set in my life, my family also does not ask me to get married again. But if I do something like this, they will support me.”
Why did Barkha and Indranil separate?
The reason for the separation has never been revealed by Barkha Bisht or Indranil Sengupta. They also refused to give the reason for this. However, in the year 2021, it was being said in many media reports that Indranil was having an extra marital affair with a Bengali actress, due to which there was a rift in their relationship. But no clear reason for this has been known yet.
