More than 7000 people will be able to build their dream homes in the new Nathdham Integrated Township of Bareilly Development Authority (BDA). This new township will have an area of ​​more than 600 acres. Approval was given to purchase land for the expansion of this township and Greater Bareilly in the BDA board meeting on Thursday. A budget of Rs 827 crore has been approved for this. BDA will acquire land for the new township in Vahanpur, Akha, Bhagwanpur Thakuran, Rafiabad, Akha Mustkil Majnupur village on Bareilly-Badaun road at four times the circle rate.

In the budget meeting chaired by Divisional Commissioner Soumya Aggarwal, it was decided to give land for the bus stand in Nath Dham Township. It was also decided that if the Transport Department does not purchase land in the new township, then the proposal to give land in exchange for the old bus stand can also be considered. In the demand survey conducted so far, 4500 applications have been received for the new township. Currently the application is going on and those who apply till February 29 will get plots at Rs 21,000 per square meter through lottery system.

Currently, applications are being taken for plots of 72, 112, 162 and 200 meters. In the meeting, it was also decided to prepare DPR for Nath Dham Township. The work of purchasing land from farmers will also start soon. Many officials including DM Ravindra Kumar, BDA Vice President A Manikandan, Secretary Yogendra Kumar attended the meeting.
