Angered by this incident, people blocked the road by placing both the bodies and started creating ruckus against the police administration. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Refinery police station reached the spot and started trying to convince the people, but people are not ready to accept it. This accident happened near Chakwali village located at Gupta Dam in Refinery police station area. The deceased youth has been identified as Vivek Rai (25), son of Pawan Rai, resident of Chakballi Diara of Matihani police station area and Kari Rai, son of Rambali Rai.

According to the information, Vivek Rai and Kari Rai were bringing vegetables from Bihat on bike. Then a high-speed highway truck crushed both the bike-riding youths. In this accident, both the youth riding the bike died on the spot. At the same time, people angry with this death blocked the road and started creating ruckus against the police administration.

Regarding this matter, Teghra MLA Ramratan Singh said that due to the negligence of NTPC manager, incidents are continuously happening at this place. He has said that the families of both the deceased should get appropriate compensation. He said that NTPC employees drive fast on this route, due to which this incident has happened.

He said that NTPC managers should come and meet the families of the deceased and give appropriate compensation. At present, Refinery police station has reached the spot and is busy in convincing the people. At the same time, there is chaos among the family members after this incident. For several hours, family members and villagers have been creating ruckus against the police administration and NTPC manager by blocking the road.
