Once again the dominance of bullies has been seen in Begusarai, Bihar. Where the bullies seriously injured the couple by beating them with iron rods. The husband and wife have been seriously injured due to the beating and are undergoing treatment at the Sadar Hospital in Begusarai. The incident took place in Begumsarai of Bachhwara police station area. The injured couple have been identified as Surendra Yadav and his wife, residents of Begumsarai under Bachhwara police station area.
Diwakar Kumar, son of injured Surendra Yadav, told that five days ago he had a fight with his uncle Phulena Yadav over watering the fields. That day also, Phulena Yadav had beaten Surendra Yadav mercilessly and when he was not satisfied, he attacked him with the butt of the pistol. In this case, Surendra Yadav had filed an application against him in Bachhwara police station and sought justice. Diwakar told that despite this, Phulena Yadav did not give up his habits and when late on Tuesday night, Surendra Yadav and his wife were coming home from the camp to have food. Then on the way Phulena Yadav and many of his companions surrounded him. Then they started beating the couple mercilessly with iron rods.
He told that he was beaten so much with an iron rod that the bullies kept beating him till he became half dead. Seeing Surendra Yadav being beaten, his wife went to save him and he too was beaten and seriously injured. After this, Surendra Yadav and his wife in injured condition were admitted to Sadar Hospital in Begusarai for treatment, where the situation remains critical.
The son of the injured couple also told that the accused is a domineering person. There is constant verbal abuse and death threats. At present, the victim’s family has reached Bachhwara police station and filed an application against the accused again, pleading for justice.
In this regard, Bachhwara Police Station President Ajit Kumar said that a case of fighting between two brothers has come to light due to a dispute. At present the application has been given by the victim’s family. Police is taking action according to that application.
