Berlin Movie Review: Aparshakti Khurana has done a praiseworthy job in this suspense-filled film

New films are being released continuously on OTT. In this sequence, a film has been released on Zee5 on 13 September, which you would not want to miss. The name of that film is ‘Berlin’, which is a suspense film and in this film Aparshakti Khurana is going to win your heart with his character. What a wonder he has done in this film. After ‘Stree 2’ you will not be able to compare his character in ‘Berlin’. His characters in both the films are opposite.

Let us tell you about the story of the film. The story of the film is set in New Delhi in the year 1993. The whole story is based on a person who can neither speak nor hear and his name is Ashok, in whose character you will see Ishwak Singh. Ashok is accused of being a foreign spy. Intelligence officer Sondhi (Rahul Boss) calls a school teacher Pushkin to talk to him, whose character is being played by Aparshakti Khurana. Who is a sign language expert.

Pushkin is brought to the intelligence department, where he starts talking to Ashok in sign language. In the initial conversation, Pushkin does not feel at all that Ashok is an agent, but Sondhi assures him that he works for many agencies. Meanwhile, one night Pushkin is picked up by the bureau people. He tells them a different story. He says that the intelligence department people are detaining two of his people.

The bureau people give some questions to Pushkin and ask him to get the answers from Ashok. That too without the intelligence department knowing. Pushkin gets very upset. After watching Aparshakti stuck between two departments of his own country in this suspense-filled film, one has to praise him. Talking about acting, apart from Aparshakti, Rahul Bose, Ishwak Singh, Anupriya Goenka and Kabir Bedi have also done justice to their characters in the film.

Also, Atul Sabharwal’s amazing direction is also seen in the film. He has presented everything in a very brilliant way. While watching the film, you will go back to 1993 and the biggest hand behind this is the cinematography. By the way, if this film had been released in theaters instead of OTT, then perhaps it would have worked well there too.

However, it is not that everything is good in the film, there are some shortcomings too. In this 2 hour long film, many times you will see some forced scenes. At many places, the speed of the film becomes so slow that you feel a bit bored. However, the climax of the film has been crafted in such a wonderful way that it overcomes all these shortcomings. Overall, you can enjoy this film sitting at home with your entire family. 3.5 stars for the film from my side.
