In Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat, a resident of Khekra police station area, a girl swallowed poisonous substance after being cheated in love. When the condition worsened, the girl herself reached the CHC, from where the doctors referred her to the district hospital seeing her condition serious.
According to information, a girl from a village in the area was having a love affair with a young man from the village for the past several months. Told that the girl wanted to marry, but the lover refused to marry. The family members of the girl also came to know about this. After this, the relatives also stopped the girl from leaving the house.
On the other hand, discord started in the girl’s family as well. The girl swallowed poisonous substance on Tuesday after the lover refused to marry and there was discord in the house. When the condition worsened, she herself reached the CHC for treatment, where the doctors, after giving first aid, referred her to the district hospital.
Station in-charge Virendra Singh refused to have information in this matter. He said that if any complaint comes in this matter, investigation will be done on its basis.
