In Bettiah, a woman has accused her alleged husband, along with an Asha worker, of killing her twin newborn baby before marriage. The victim is now reaching the police station with her two dead children and pleading for justice. The wife alleges that my alleged husband, along with an Asha worker, fed me medicine and killed both my twin children. The matter is of Senwariya village of Majhauliya police station area. The victim is calling herself Bullet Patel’s wife.
Became a mother under the influence of false love
The victim applied to the police and accused her alleged husband Bullet Patel along with Satan Patel, Juganati Devi, Manoj Patel and Runa Devi and said that my husband and in-laws used to demand Rs 1 lakh and a motorcycle as dowry. The woman has also accused him of assault and harassment. The woman said that he made me pregnant by entangling me in false promises and talks of love.
The twins were five months old
When I informed Bullet Patel about this, he started running away from me. Then I complained about this to her family but they also did not support me and started pressurizing me to get an abortion. When I refused to do so, Bullet Patel met the ASHA worker and gave me medicine and caused harm to both my twins. The victim told that both the children were only 5 months old, who were growing in her stomach. Now both the children have died.
Punished for being inter-caste
Villagers say that both of them are inter-caste lovers, due to which both of them were not able to get married. Although this love affair was going on for the last several years. People from the girl’s side were ready to get married and were pressurizing the boy’s side to get married, but the boy’s side was refusing to get married. Panchayat was also held several times regarding the matter, but the matter remained as it was. Meanwhile, the girl had become pregnant and the alleged husband’s five-month-old twin child was growing in her womb. As a conspiracy, Bullet Patel got the newborn babies killed in the womb itself.
Police searching for alleged absconding husband
Regarding the incident, Majholia police station incharge Akhilesh Kumar Mishra says that the matter seems to be a love affair. Both the dead children have been sent to GMCH Bettiah for post-mortem. Both are lovers and residents of the same village. After the incident, the alleged husband left the house and is absconding. Application has been received in the matter. Police is busy taking further action in the case.
