In the Bettiah Civil Court of Bihar, Special POCSO Act Judge Javed Alam has found the accused guilty of molesting a minor girl and sentenced him to three years imprisonment. Besides, the judge has also imposed a fine of Rs 6,000 on the culprit. If you do not deposit the fine amount, you will have to face additional imprisonment of two months. This case was selected in speed trial. The judge has pronounced the sentence, completing the hearing of the case in just one year. According to the information, on August 18, 2021, a minor girl from a village in Sahodara police station area went towards the fields to defecate. Meanwhile, convicted Nazre Alam, along with some people, had kidnapped a minor girl. In this case, the father of the minor girl had lodged an FIR. While hearing this case, the special judge has sentenced Najre Alam.

The judge has also ordered to give assistance amount of Rs 75 thousand to the victim under Bihar Victim Compensation Scheme. The convicted accused is Nazre Alam, a resident of Thathwa village of Shikarpur police station area of ​​the police district. At the same time, POCSO’s exclusive special public prosecutor Jaishankar Tiwari said that the incident happened in 2021.
