The problem of deafness is increasing due to headphones

Health experts say that generally after 60 years of age, hearing ability of people starts decreasing. But due to the kind of lifestyle today’s youth are adopting, this ability is weakening at an early age. The biggest reason for this is being said to be earphones and headphones. Yes, even though headphones and earphones are very useful in the new era. But due to excessive use of them, the youth are coming at risk of deafness. It is believed that the more decimal the headphones are used, the more damage will be caused to the ears. The way today’s youth are using headphones and earphones more, their ears are constantly exposed to loud noises and this is causing damage to the delicate muscles of the ears.

Loud noise is causing harm to ears

Some research in this regard was reviewed in a journal published in BMJ Public Health. A total of 50 thousand people were included in these studies. After this study, it was found that children and youth who work and play games wearing headphones and earphones for a long time have higher risk of deafness.

What does research say?

During the research, it was said that generally headphones and earphones can be used for some time at a volume of 30 to 50 deciles. But when it is used for a long time at 70 decibel sound, it causes great harm to the ears. Not only this, some people like to listen to sounds above 100 decimals, these decimes are enough to cause immediate damage to your ears. This study states that people who use headphones and earphones for hours at a volume above 80 decibels, their risk of becoming deaf increases significantly compared to others.
