The spate of murders in Bhagalpur is not taking its name. Fearless criminals have no fear of the police. The miscreants are openly carrying out the crime. The latest case is of Meerachak of Zeromile Industrial Police Station area, where the miscreants brutally murdered a young man with a sharp weapon late night on NH-80. The deceased has been identified as Akshay Mandal, son of Munna Mandal, a resident of Meerachak.
It is being told about the matter that the deceased Akshay Navagachia was going to bring his sister-in-law after Holi. In the meantime, the accused, who were already ambushed nearby Paro Mandal, Munilal Mandal, Sanichar Mandal, Gokali Mandal together attacked Akshay with sharp weapons and killed him. It is being told that Paro Mandal and his associates have carried out the incident due to enmity. On the other hand, Ranju Devi, the mother of the deceased told that all the four accused are brothers and they have killed her son.
Father was also murdered
He said that a few months back, the said accused had killed Akshay’s father Munna Mandal in the same way under enmity, since then the dispute is going on between the two groups. It is being told that Akshay had a fight between Paro and Munilal after his father’s murder. Because of which Akshay also went to jail. Recently, after coming out of jail, the accused had threatened to kill him.
Attacked with knife, razor and rod
On Thursday night, when Akshay went out of the house to go to his sister-in-law’s maternal home, he was murdered near Mirachak garden. The miscreants have used knives, razors and rods in the murder. Whose mark is on the face and body of the deceased Akshay. On the other hand, the villagers saw Akshay bleeding on the road and informed his family members about the incident. On getting the news, the family members reached the spot and hurriedly took him to Mayaganj Hospital, where he died during treatment in the morning.
Three accused arrested, one absconding
Here, on getting information about the incident, the Zeromile police also reached the spot and on the basis of the statement of the aggrieved party, three accused have been arrested, apart from Paro Mandal and Munilal’s Mandal, another accused has been arrested . The fourth accused is still out of police custody. At present, the police is interrogating the arrested accused and searching for the fourth accused to find out the reason behind the murder.
