SP president Akhilesh Yadav had last week denied that Rahul Gandhi had sent an invitation letter for the couple’s visit to India. It said that dear Rahul, thank you for the invitation to the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Hearty congratulations for the success of Bharat Jodo campaign. Akhilesh has further written that India is more of a feeling than a geographical expansion, in which love, non-violence, Compassion, cooperation and harmony are the positive elements that unite India. Hope this yatra will achieve its goal with the aim of preserving this inclusive culture of our country. However, the letter did not mention whether he would attend the yatra or not. Party sources say that SP President Akhilesh Yadav will not participate in the yatra. He himself had given a statement regarding BJP and Congress being the same.
