Bharos: Prime minister Narendra Modi Have been continuously talking about self-reliant India. To promote his vision, J&K Operation, an incubated firm of IIT Madras, has created a homegrown mobile operating system named BharOS. This operating system will be privacy focused, in which users will get better security. IIT Madras claims that this operating system will benefit more than 100 crore mobile users of India and people’s privacy will not be breached.
According to the developers who developed this operating system, this OS will provide more control and flexibility to the users. People will not get default apps in this operating system means you will get more storage and you will get updates like Android in a year. At present, the information about this is not revealed in which mobile phone this operating system will work. But it is being said that the company will provide it to organizations that need strong security and privacy.
Features of BharOS
BharOS will be a privacy-centric operating system, that is, no third party app will be allowed to be downloaded in this operating system. This operating system will provide a private app store to the people from which they will be able to download all the applications. However, this is not the case with Android smartphones. You can also use third party applications in Android which work to disturb privacy.
