After the deadline to vacate two buildings built on enemy property in SP leader Azam Khan’s Jauhar University expired, the administration took sealing action on Saturday. Officers related to enemy property reached the campus with the police force and took action.
13.08 hectares of land in SP leader Azam Khan’s Jauhar University is enemy property. The enemy property department had given orders to the administration to demarcate the land located in Jauhar University as well as take possession of it.
After this, the Revenue Department team measured the land in Jauhar University for four days and took action to take possession of it. During the action, two buildings of Jauhar University also came under the purview of enemy property.
A notice was issued by the administration to vacate these buildings. It was also pasted on the buildings. A time limit of seven days was given in the notice. The notice issued on July 25 expired on Thursday.
After the notice period was over, the administration took action to seal these two buildings as well. SDM Sadar Monika Singh said that orders were given to take possession of the enemy property located in Jauhar University.
After this order, the land has been taken into possession, but the two buildings that came in the area were given a notice to vacate. Its period has expired. On Saturday, they took possession of this land and sealed these two buildings.
