Major incidents of crime have again come to the fore on Wednesday morning from Nalanda, the home district of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The bodies of two brothers missing since Tuesday evening were recovered from the bushes of Chandimau village of Silav police station area on Wednesday morning. On the other hand, the body of the young son of the bodyguard of RJD leader and former MLA Pappu Kha was found hanging from the goal post at the football ground of Sogra College located in Kayampur, Rahui police station area.

The dead bodies of two brothers who were found near Panchane river in Chandi Mau village of Silav police station area, were brutally beaten to death. A lot of resentment is being seen among the villagers after the dead bodies of the two youths who went missing two days ago were found in the bushes on the banks of the river on Wednesday morning. After that, a friend of the village, Chhoti Kumar, called him on 15 January. Since then both of them were missing. The family members had registered a missing case in this regard at Silav police station. The police did not take the matter seriously and now these bodies have been recovered. The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained, but both the brothers have deep scars on their faces. Nalanda SP Ashok Mishra has told that the bodies of two youths have been recovered. Rajgir DSP Pradeep Kumar along with the police of several police stations are present at the spot. FSL and dog squad are being called on the spot to investigate the matter.
