In an interview given to ETimes, Akanksha told what kind of problems she is facing even after getting this surgery done.
I don’t want to be alone in life
The actress said, ‘I don’t want to live alone in life. At least I will raise a child for myself who will be my future. I did not want to end that option for myself. The longer it is, your AMH keeps falling. Later, I will not even have this option. I have been thinking about this for the last 4 years and I think if I had done this 4 years ago, the quality of the eggs would have been much better. But I am happy that I took this decision. Even if I become a single mother, I will still be very happy.
Talking about the reaction of her parents to this decision, Akanksha said, ‘Ever since I came out of my previous relationship, it was always in my mind that I want to secure myself and my future. My mother has been very supportive. This process is also very expensive and not everyone can afford it.
‘I was taking hormonal injections’
The actress further said, ‘In my case, I had some problems and I was constantly taking injections and my body was going through many things. I was taking hormonal injections. Initially, I did not share it with anyone, but now people will know why I was looking fat. I have no problem with this, even if I look too fat, I don’t have any problem because I am into fitness so I am not worried, I know that I will become fit again.’
Akanksha Puri said, ‘During this surgery, I had to stop working out etc. and I was completely on bed rest. This whole journey has been very difficult and I have still not achieved it and I still have to go through two-three more steps.’ Let us tell you that Akanksha Puri came into the limelight after her ex-boyfriend Paras Chhabra came on the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’.
