Due to derailment of three bogies of the goods train in Bihar’s Darbhanga, the operations have been completely disrupted. The accident happened near Mohammadpur station of Darbhanga-Sitamarhi railway section.
According to information, three bogies of the ballast laden goods train overturned on the track. Due to this, the operation of trains on this route has been disrupted. A horrific train accident took place near Mohammadpur station near Kamtaul of Darbhanga-Sitamarhi railway line. During this, three bogies of goods train carrying ballast going to Sitamarhi derailed.
However, there was no loss of life or property in this. The team of officials is investigating the spot after reaching there. Due to the accident, the movement of trains from both the up-down side on the railway block has come to a standstill.
At present, efforts are being made to remove the overturned wagons of the goods train on the railway track. So that operations can be normalized as soon as possible. At the same time, immediately after the accident, the railway officials reached the spot and started trying to normalize the situation. Many trains have been affected due to the accident.
During the maintenance work in Mohammadpur yard between Darbhanga-Sitamarhi section of Samastipur division, the operation of trains was disrupted due to diversion of three empty wagons of goods train near km 48/9-10 at 15.15 hrs on Saturday. Divisional Railway Manager has reached the accident spot along with the accident relief vehicle.
