Two people died in a horrific road accident in Saharsa while the condition of one is critical. The incident took place at Vishanpur on the Patarghat-Madhepura main road in the Patarghat police station area. Here, in protest against the incident, people blocked the road with both the bodies on Saturday morning and stopped traffic. People are demanding the arrest of the murderer. Here, on receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating. The police pacified the people by explaining them.

People say that on Friday late night near Vishanpur-Chimni, an uncontrolled high speed four wheeler crushed three local youths sitting on the side of the road. All were immediately taken to the hospital. Where the doctor declared two youths dead on reaching the hospital. The third youth, Jitan Kumar, is undergoing treatment but his condition is also critical. The family members first admitted him to a hospital in Madhepura. From where he was sent to a private hospital in Saharsa for better treatment. It is being said that he will be referred to Patna from there also.

Police arrested the accused driver

Here, Saharsa Police has taken the driver into custody. Police has also taken the accident vehicle into its possession. As the incident happened late at night, people were not able to get the information. On getting to know about the incident on Saturday morning, people started protesting with the dead body. Patarghat SHO Prabhakar Bharti said that in this case the accused driver has been taken into custody. Further action is underway in the case. Here, people said that after eating food, all the three were sitting on the roadside at some distance from the house due to heat. During this time, a speeding vehicle suddenly came and crushed them.

The dead and the injured do the labor

All the three people who were hit by the speeding vehicle were taken to Madhepura Medical College late on Friday night. Where Vishanpur resident Ajay Sutihar (35) and Dharmendra Kamat (25) were declared dead by the doctor. 35-year-old Jitan was referred for better treatment. Family members said that both of them died on the spot. People said that both the deceased and the injured used to support their families by working as laborers.
