After this everyone was shifted to room number one of CCW (Central Casualty Ward) of the Emergency Department. There were a total of five beds in this room, out of which other emergency patients were being treated on four beds. Therefore, three children got one bed. Whereas an innocent child kept crying in his relative’s lap for several hours. Due to the slow speed of the two fans installed in the room, the patients and their relatives were not getting relief from the heat. It is being told that in this humid environment the scorched innocent people started crying. After that, when the relatives bought a hand fan and started fanning themselves, the innocent people got relief.

In its absence, patients burnt by fire are treated in the surgery department along with other patients. Whereas experts believe that patients burnt by fire are most at risk from infection. Therefore, treatment of such patients is arranged in an air-conditioned environment.
