Bihar: Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train Will Run From Kolkata On May 20 To Visit Jyotirlinga

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism (IRCTC) has announced to run Bharat Gaurav special tourist train for Jyotirlinga visit. This Bharat Gaurav Special tourist train will flag off from Kolkata on May 20 and will cover five Jyotirlingas – Omkareshwar, Mahakaleshwar, Somnath, Nageshwar and Trimbakeshwar as well as Statue of Unity, Shirdi Sai Baba and Shani Shingnapur. The train will start the spiritual journey from Kolkata and provide a pilgrimage experience for 11 nights.

Bandel, Burdwan, Bolpur, Shantiniketan, Rampur Hat, Pakur, Sahibganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deendayal for passengers in this Bharat Gaurav Tourism Special train Upadhyay Jn. Boarding/deboarding facility has been provided at Prayagraj and Chheoki stations.

Announcement of three packages for passengers

1. Economy Class (Sleeper Class) – 315 berths are available in this package and the fare per person has been fixed at Rs.20,060/-. In this package, passengers will be accommodated in non AC budget hotels and will be provided with non AC bus facility.

2. Standard (Third AC Class) – 297 berths are available in this package and the per person fare has been fixed at Rs.31,800/-. In this package, passengers will be accommodated in AC hotel and will get the facility of non AC bus.

3. Comfort (2nd AC Class) – 44 berths are available in this package and the fare per person has been fixed at Rs.41,600/-. In this package, passengers will be accommodated in AC hotels and will be provided with AC bus facility. Passengers of all the above three classes will be served food as per standard vegetarian menu.

Indian Railways is giving a concession of about 33 percent in fares to encourage rail tourism under the ‘Bharat Gaurav Train Scheme’. This concession is included in the fare fixed for the above special train. EMI facility has also been given to passengers if they book tickets through Paytm, Roger-Pay and Bajaj Finance directly from the IRCTC website.
